“Featuring the profoundly imaginative and visionary artist, writer, and performer Kamee Abrahamian and renowned artists, scholars, and art critics Mashinka Firunts Hakopian and Hrag Vartanian, this special event will explore Armenofuturism—a realm in which re-imaginings and re-claimings of queer and otherwise marginalized Armenian pasts give way to futures of possibility and wonder. Moderated by musicologist Sylvia Alajaji, this conversation will provide an opportunity to gather and reflect together on the liberatory alliances and world-making possibilities inherent in the imagining of Armenian futures.”
